The Nemo Foundation has become a benchmark resource in early care and support for functional diversity, offering a comprehensive approach that combines personalised therapies, family support, and the promotion of inclusion in schools and the community.
Currently, hundreds of families benefit from its programs, which foster children’s autonomy and provide parents with specialised guidance in child-rearing and care. These initiatives help advance equal opportunities for children with special needs.

The Ministry of Families, Social Welfare and Dependency Care maintains two early care agreements with Nemo: one in Menorca, funded with €689,697.32, and another in Palma, with €2,071,680.00. It also finances a project to promote autonomy for people with disabilities with €73,372.63, and through the 0.7% personal income tax allocation, €396,199.86 is directed to programs that strengthen social inclusion and family support.
During a visit to the Foundation’s facilities, the role of these resources as a driver of change in the daily lives of children and their families was highlighted. The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to continue working with leading organisations such as Nemo to ensure that no child is left without support when most needed.
