In addition, non-profit centres with special agreements with the Balearic Islands Health Service — namely the Red Cross and Sant Joan de Déu — have carried out 109,878 consultations from January to September, marking a 15% rise compared to 2024.
According to the regional Health Department, these figures reflect the coordinated work of all healthcare professionals, including both medical and administrative staff, as well as the collaboration between hospital management and primary care, which has led to improved patient access to healthcare services.
