Inca presents a 2025 Fair Program full of innovation, tradition, and community spirit
“With the Fairs, Inca beats stronger than ever, offering activities for everyone and a program that combines tradition, innovation, and civic engagement. During these weeks, the city shows its vitality and becomes a meeting point where everyone finds their place,” said Virgilio Moreno, Mayor of Inca.
Councillor Maritxé Fernández added: “This year we wanted to make the Fairs even more open and participatory, with new proposals that keep our traditions alive while providing spaces for culture, music, and social life. Each weekend will be a different experience to discover and enjoy Inca. We’ve prepared a program for everyone, full of new features and the involvement of local associations that make Inca beat so strongly.”
October 18–19: Earth Fair
This year’s first fair brings rondalles (Mallorcan folk tales) to life, with special decorations and characters like King Jaume I in Plaça d’Espanya, the Eagle of the Romanial Flower in Plaça d’Orient, and novelties such as a talking tree and a carnivorous plant that will surprise visitors.
Plaça de Mallorca will be the heart of this fair, featuring workshops, family activities, stands, and new events such as the First Traditional Music and Dance Festival “Inca Fairs”, organised with Sa Revetla Association, as well as a glosadors meeting, a folk-tale drawing contest, and the Do Natural concert on Sunday evening.
The first fair will also host the Inca Yokai Fest, now part of the first weekend, with workshops, exhibitions, contests, and food trucks in Carrer Miquel Duran and Plaça del Mercat. Other highlights include the Mule Exhibition, Natural Key Fair, Recycling Fair, “Moda Re Cáritas” fashion show, and the traditional Emergency Fair.
October 25–26: Motor Fair
The second fair keeps its dynamic character with the Motor Fair, featuring slalom, drift, vehicle and motorcycle exhibitions, and a SuperEnduro show as a major novelty. New additions include a board game fair at Santa Maria la Major, a Talent Show, and the Physical Activity and Sports Fair in Plaça de Mallorca.
The weekend will also include the tribute to senior citizens and golden wedding couples, the Leatherfest Party, the Record Fair, the first Vespa ride around Mallorca, and events marking the 150th anniversary of the train’s arrival in Inca, organised by Amics del Ferrocarril.
November 1–2: Vintage Fair
The third fair preserves its artistic and festive atmosphere with established events such as RataMarket, Creativíssim, and the Circus Day. Once again, there will be a large vintage market, street performances, a horse show, and a falconry exhibition, among other attractions.
A lively city decorated with heart
The 2025 Inca Fairs will feature collective and sustainable decorations. The associations Esment, Joan XXIII, and Aldaba will fill Plaça d’Espanya with autumn leaves, while a large iron heart decorated with handmade hearts by Punts amb Vida will stand at Santa Maria la Major. The Es Garrover Foundation will also contribute to the Recycling Fair, bringing art and social awareness to this beloved event.
