The Eivissa Fairgrounds will host the latest edition of the “Trobada de Pobles” on October 18 and 19, a multicultural event that has become one of the island’s most anticipated autumn celebrations.
Over the weekend, ten regional houses and cultural associations will showcase their traditions through music, dance, traditional costumes, and gastronomy. Participants will include associations representing Cantabria, the Dominican Republic, Brazil, Tahiti, Bolivia, the Philippines, Valencia, and Paraguay, along with the Rociera Brotherhood Choir and the Federation of Eivissa Traditional Dance and Culture Groups, which will offer a display of local folklore, dance, and music.

Eivissa to host the “Trobada de Pobles” on October 18 and 19, celebrating global culture, gastronomy, and music
The event will feature live performances, children’s entertainment, and an international food tasting from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Activities will begin on Saturday at 10:00 a.m., with the official opening at 10:30 a.m., and will continue on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Admission is free of charge.
According to Marilina Ribas, Minister of Citizen Participation, the Trobada “is a celebration of coexistence and a tribute to the communities that make Eivissa an open and diverse island.” She recalled that the event had been revived last year after an eight-year absence, and that its return this year confirmed its success among residents and visitors alike. Ribas emphasised that the Trobada “offers a wonderful opportunity for Ibizans to discover and share the cultures that coexist on the island, blending traditions, cuisine, and music in a spirit of respect and unity.”
