Llorenç Galmés, together with the Councillor for Economic Promotion and Local Development, Pilar Amate, welcomed the winners of the third edition of the Gala dels Premis Gastronòmics 2025.
The event, held in the plenary hall of the Consell de Mallorca, was also attended by Jordi Mora (President of PIMEM), Josep Roquer (Delegate of Prisa Media Balears and Regional Director of Cadena SER), and Pedro Rullán (CEO of Grupo Serra).

During the reception, Galmés highlighted that the awards “acknowledge and make visible the entire ecosystem behind the Mallorcan local product: chefs, restaurants, producers, and artisans.” He added that the event helps position Mallorca as a leading gastronomic destination, emphasizing that “the island is much more than sun and beaches; it is culture, landscape, and gastronomy.”

Addressing the winners, he said: “You are great ambassadors of Mallorca. You represent a value chain that goes from the field to the table — behind every dish there is a producer who cares for raw materials, a craftsman who creates, and the emerging talent of young innovators.”

He concluded by congratulating the awardees and encouraging them to continue striving for excellence. Galmés reaffirmed the Consell de Mallorca’s commitment to supporting the gastronomy sector, convinced that “investing in local products is investing in the island’s future.”

The 2025 Gala dels Premis Gastronòmics featured three categories —“Bar,” “Cuisine and Gastronomy,” and “Agri-food Promotion”— with nineteen winners and an honorary distinction awarded to the Acadèmia de la Cuina i el Vi de Mallorca.
