This funding will allow the implementation of seventeen training programmes in Mallorca and Menorca, after approval of all ten applications submitted. Each programme offers 1,000 hours of practical learning, combining general and specialised modules.

Students who complete the general modules will obtain the first-level adult education certificate, while the specialised modules lead to a Level 1 professional certificate, enabling access to further training pathways such as basic vocational education.

The approved specialities include Hairdressing Assistant, Hospitality and Kitchen Assistant, Plumbing and Domestic Air-Conditioning Assistant, maintenance of leisure boats, forestry conservation, vehicle electromechanics and beauty services. Additionally, specific programmes will cover commerce, restaurant services and kitchen activities.

With this initiative, the Ministry seeks to provide a second chance for educational and professional development, strengthening young people’s skills and improving their employability and social inclusion.
