The Consell de Mallorca’s “Get-Away Days for Seniors” closed a record edition with 2,000 participants
President Galmés highlighted that these stays are “a way to honour the people who have contributed so much to our society by offering them spaces to enjoy, connect and stay active.” Councillor Fuster emphasised “the great atmosphere and participation,” noting that the programme “has become a highly anticipated event that reflects the vitality and joy of our senior citizens.”
With this edition, the Consell doubled the number of places compared with last year and covered 75 % of the total cost, consolidating the programme as one of the most valued initiatives for promoting an active and healthy lifestyle among Mallorca’s older residents.
