Mallorca unveils new tourism model at London’s World Travel Market

Mallorca will showcase an innovative digital ecosystem powered by artificial intelligence at the upcoming World Travel Market (WTM) in London, held from November 4 to 6. This new platform is designed to help travellers create personalised, sustainable, and responsible itineraries, reflecting the island’s commitment to a more conscious tourism model.

The institutional delegation will be led by the President of the Consell de Mallorca, Llorenç Galmés, joined by Vice President Antònia Roca and Tourism Minister José Marcial Rodríguez. Under the tagline “Mallorca Reinvents Itself”, the official launch on November 4 will introduce the island’s first AI-powered trip planning platform, hosted on the central website mallorca.es.

Cultural expression will also be a focal point of Mallorca’s presence in London. That same day, the art exhibition “Dins i més enllà del marc” (“Inside and Beyond the Frame”) will open in a central venue, featuring emerging artists from the island. Later, a traditional correfoc fire-dance performance will bring the spirit of Mallorca’s popular festivities to the Bernie Spain Gardens, thanks to the Federació de Dimonis of the Balearic Islands.

During the fair, Mallorca’s team will also hold strategic meetings with key industry stakeholders, including Turespaña, eDreams, and lastminute.com. The goal is to strengthen ties with the British market, attract new tourist profiles, and consolidate Mallorca’s position as a destination offering authentic and personalised experiences that blend culture, nature, technology, and tradition.
