The President of the Balearic Islands, Margalida Prohens, alongside regional ministers, has paid tribute to 56 public sector workers who retired between 2024 and 2025. The event took place in the courtyard of the Consolat de Mar.

During the ceremony, the dedication and commitment of these employees to public services were recognised. Both President Prohens and the Minister of Labour, Public Function, and Social Dialogue, Catalina Cabrer, expressed their gratitude, highlighting the essential work of these individuals, often carried out quietly but vital for the smooth running of public administration.

Tribute to 56 Retired Public Employees from the Balearic Islands Held at Consolat de Mar

Each retiree received a commemorative medal from the president and the heads of their respective departments. Ricard Urgell spoke on behalf of the honoured retirees.

The event concluded with a performance by the Balearic Islands Symphony Orchestra.
