Carme Bosch, Director General of Mental Health, closed the II International Congress on “New Paradigms in Mental Health”, held in Cala Millor and organised by 3 Salut Mental.
Bosch highlighted the need for a paradigm shift in how mental health is perceived and approached, in line with the new Strategic Plan for Emotional Well-being and Mental Health 2025-2030, recently introduced in the Balearic Islands. The plan promotes a more person-centred, community-driven, and humanised model of mental health care, emphasising prevention, emotional well-being, and respect for human rights.

Carme Bosch closes the congress “Dialogues for Mental Health, Relationships that Transform”
The two-day event brought together international experts such as Kenneth Gergen, Harlene Anderson, and Jaakko Seikkula, who explored transformative perspectives on mental health and the role of human relationships in recovery.
Bosch acknowledged the efforts of the 3 Salut Mental organisations —Gira-Sol, Fundació Es Garrover, and Estel de Llevant— for their dedication to building a more inclusive, community-based approach: “Dialogue and collaboration are key to providing comprehensive and respectful support for people facing mental health challenges,” she said.
