A group of twelve firefighters from Mallorca per shift are taking part in specialised training at the Seganosa centre in Galicia. The program focuses on handling complex emergencies, such as vehicle fires, incidents involving lithium batteries, and hydrogen-related risks.
Rafel Bosch, Minister of Finance, Innovation and Public Service, and Joan Fornàs, Island Director of Emergencies, visited the team during the sessions. Bosch emphasised the need for such training to ensure firefighters have the most up-to-date knowledge and equipment.
