The day care centre in Alaior, under the authority of the Ministry of Families, Social Welfare and Dependency Care, has moved forward with the tender for its furniture and equipment, with a maximum budget of €95,154.93 including VAT.

The tender is divided into eight lots covering geriatric furniture, communal area equipment, office and kitchen appliances, bathroom supplies, curtains, clinical materials, and physiotherapy items.

Tender launched for furniture and equipment of Alaior’s new day care centre, budgeted at €95,000

Declared a project of regional interest in November 2023, the centre is designed to accommodate 30 users and features a 986 m² layout. The building is planned around a central courtyard, allowing natural light and flexibility in use. Key rooms, such as the multipurpose hall, rest area, and physiotherapy room, are located on the south side and can be merged into a larger shared space.

The architectural design was awarded to Tomás Montis Sastre’s studio in June 2023.
