Health Service allocates €42,000 for refurbishments at S’Escorxador Health Centre
The contract was awarded this week as part of ongoing efforts to maintain and improve this historic and protected building, which has shown signs of structural wear over time. The investment adds to €65,000 spent over the past two years on upgrades such as replacing the air conditioning system and refurbishing the reception desk and public restrooms.
Looking ahead, the health service plans to build a new health centre and a Primary Care Emergency Service (SUAP) in the Buenos Aires Health Park. The project, included in the 2024-2027 Health Investment Plan, is expected to go to tender next year with an estimated budget of €28 million.
