Balearic Islands strengthen their international presence at Metstrade with fifteen nautical companies
The Minister of Business, Self-Employment and Energy, Alejandro Sáenz de San Pedro, and the General Director of ANEN, Jordi Carrasco, presented the agreement together with representatives of the participating companies, the General Director of Industry and Industrial Estates, Alfons Gómez, and the President of the Balearic Nautical Companies Association (AENIB), Jaume Vaquer.
Sáenz de San Pedro highlighted that this initiative represents “a great opportunity for companies that do not attend Metstrade with their own stand but want to benefit from the major opportunities offered by such an international event.” He added that the Ministry works closely with the sector “to strengthen the nautical business network and promote innovation as a key tool for growth.”
Carrasco stressed that cooperation with the regional government “reinforces the commitment to the internationalisation of the Balearic nautical sector” and pointed out that Metstrade “is the best platform to showcase its potential and create new business opportunities.”
Through the agreement with the Regional Development Agency of the Balearic Islands (ADRBalears), ANEN will provide a dedicated space for Balearic nautical companies within the association’s stand located in Hall 1, one of the busiest areas of the fair. Companies will be able to present their products, hold meetings and establish new business connections.
In addition, an event will be held on 19 November to highlight the potential of the Balearic nautical industry, while promoting the next edition of the Palma International Boat Show, which will take place from 29 April to 2 May 2026.
Among the companies confirmed to participate at the ANEN stand are Supermercado Náutico, Viamar, Dahlberg, OS Safety Equipment, Seateach, Waterline, Metalnox, Bravo Yacht Design, Astilleros de Mallorca, Akupalma, Nautipaints, Marine Point and Warren Maritime.
The stand, featuring a space dedicated to the Balearic Islands, will also be open to all Balearic-based companies visiting Metstrade, providing a meeting point for networking, presentations and new professional contacts.
Metstrade will be held from 18 to 20 November at the RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre and is considered the most important professional event for the sector worldwide, hosting more than 1,700 exhibitors and attracting over 20,000 visitors each year.
