Education Department Opens Call to Develop Updated Entrance Exams for Vocational Training Programs

The Department of Education and Universities, through the Directorate-General of Vocational Training and Educational Organisation, has launched a call for applications from teaching staff to develop the entrance examinations for intermediate and advanced vocational training programmes.
The aim is to update and renew the tests that enable students without the required academic qualification to access vocational training.

For intermediate level training programmes, the subjects required are: Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, Spanish Language, Catalan Language, Mathematics and Technology. For advanced level programme,s the subjects are: Biology; Earth and Environmental Sciences; Technical Drawing; Economics; Physical Education; Physics; Geography; German Language; English Language; Spanish Language; Catalan Language; French Language; Mathematics; Psychology; Chemistry; Industrial Technology; Information and Communication Technologies.
Eligible candidates are active secondary-school teaching staff who have at least three years of direct classroom experience in the relevant speciality and are posted for the full academic year in a secondary school (IES) or an integrated vocational training centre (CIFP) in the Balearic Islands.
Applications may be submitted electronically until 1 December 2025.
