PortsIB launches recruitment process for two senior management positions to strengthen its organisational structure

Ports de les Illes Balears has opened a selection process to reinforce its management team by incorporating two new senior roles: a Director of New Technologies and Communication, and a Deputy to the General Management.

Both posts, governed by high-level employment regulations, will be filled through open appointment, with the official terms published in the Official Gazette of the Balearic Islands and on the PortsIB website. These recruitments stem from the recently updated organisational structure, aimed at improving strategic planning and enhancing coordination across the institution.

The technology and communication role will be responsible for leading the organisation’s digital transformation, overseeing information systems and technological infrastructure, and managing institutional communication. Applicants must hold a university degree related to computer engineering, along with the general requirements detailed in the official guidelines.

The deputy position will provide direct support to the General Management in tasks such as planning, internal coordination, monitoring goals and representing the organisation whenever required. This role requires a university degree at the bachelor’s or graduate level.
