The Consell de Mallorca and Palma City Council have renewed their agreement with SMAP, allowing spectators of the Teatre Principal’s family-friendly performances to benefit from two hours of free parking at the underground car parks in Plaça Major, Via Roma and Antoni Maura. The measure will remain in force throughout the season and will be especially useful between 20 December 2025 and 4 January 2026, when the theatre offers an extensive Christmas programme.

The Vice President of the Consell and Minister of Culture, Antònia Roca, highlighted that the initiative returns after last year’s positive results, aiming to further encourage families to participate in cultural activities. She also thanked the City Council, which will again share the campaign’s cost equally with the Consell.
