Inca City Council and the local Training Centre have held the closing ceremony of “Inca Clip”, a mixed training-and-employment project focused on administrative work and carried out within the SOIB 30 Training and Employment programme. The initiative is funded by the SOIB through the Sectoral Conference on Employment and Labour Affairs.

Over the course of eleven months, 15 participants have taken part in an integrated itinerary combining theoretical training, practical learning and paid work within various municipal departments. The Councillor for Training and Employment, Maria Francisca Barceló, expressed her satisfaction with promoting projects that generate quality employment opportunities for the residents of Inca.

Mayor Virgilio Moreno highlighted the value of these programmes as a catalyst for opportunities: “Inca is firmly committed to training and to boosting employment. This project is a clear example of how, with SOIB’s support, we can offer training pathways that open real doors into the labour market. We are extremely proud of the participants and of the contribution they have made to daily municipal services.”

He also stressed that initiatives like this reinforce the city’s commitment to local talent and to creating a community full of opportunities.

Throughout the programme, participants supported a wide range of municipal areas —including Education, Culture, Census Services, Sports, Municipal Services, Equality, Local Police, Library, Tax Administration and Secretariat— helping to improve service quality, reduce administrative waiting times and move towards a more efficient and accessible public administration.
