Ports de les Illes Balears has issued a reminder that December 31, 2025, is the deadline for renewing temporary base-berth authorisations (List 7ª) in the ports directly managed by the public authority. The process applies only to current authorisation holders whose permits also expire on that same date.

Final days to renew temporary berth authorisations at PortsIB-managed harbours

Under the provisions of Decree 11/2011 of February 18, users with valid temporary berth permits must submit a renewal request for the following port facilities:

  • Andratx: 28 berths
  • Banyalbufar: 29
  • Sant Elm: 5
  • Ciutadella: 113
  • Fornells: 63
  • Portocolom: 39
  • Sant Antoni de Portmany: 221

Application forms can be accessed via the PortsIB online portal (https://portsib.sedeelectronica.es). Submissions may also be delivered in person at PortsIB’s central office (c/c/Vicente Tofiño, 36, Coll d’en Rabassa – Palma).

Although the authority encourages users to complete the renewal online for greater convenience, those who prefer to apply in person must submit the required documents before the December 31, 202,5, deadline. Alternatively, applications may be filed through any of the channels authorised by Article 16.4 of Law 39/2015 on Common Administrative Procedure.

PortsIB further warns that holders who fail to renew in time will lose their preferential right to the berth, which will then be vacated.
