The first edition of IncaJoc will take place on December 12, 13 and 14 at the Quarter General Luque, introducing a new gathering space dedicated to promoting board games as educational, social and family tools. The initiative aims to connect schools, social organisations, families and people of all ages interested in the benefits of shared play.

The event will bring together over 600 students, more than 1,000 seats for guided game sessions, and 500 places in the free-play area, offering a diverse programme designed for a wide audience.

Visitors will have the opportunity to discover more than 200 board games from brands such as Lúdilo, Haba, Mercurio, Ravensburger, Svoora, Miniland, Cayro, Smart Games and 2 Tomatoes. Additionally, nine Mallorcan publishers will showcase both their existing catalogues and their newest creations.

IncaJoc will also feature a professional training area for teachers, including workshops, talks and presentations on game-based learning. Among the guest speakers is Óscar Recio Coll, a leading figure in educational gaming, collaborator at the Laboratori de Jocs, elcel.org and the Enclavament de Joc association, and creator of the platform jueducacion.com.

One of the main new features of this edition is the Diversament area, specially designed for people with functional diversity and senior participants, promoting active engagement, social interaction and cognitive stimulation through play.

Nostalgic visitors will enjoy a vintage games zone, as well as outdoor activities offered by Món de Colorins throughout the weekend. The commercial area will include shops such as Llibreria Lila, Espai Rialles and Ludicon.

IncaJoc is made possible through the support of the Inca Town Council and the Institut d’Estudis Baleàrics, highlighting values such as cooperation, creativity and community building through play.
