Since 1996, the fair — hosted in Rho, on the outskirts of Milan — has highlighted creators from around the world who produce unique, high-quality goods using methods that respect people and the environment. Key sectors represented at the event include jewellery, fashion, accessories, home décor, gift items, tourism, culture and food products.

According to Maria Fajarnés, councillor for Economic Promotion, Municipal Cooperation and Human Resources, who attended the event, this fair is “a unique opportunity for artisans from our island to showcase the excellence of their work to an international audience, especially during the Christmas season, when handmade products make significant gifts.”
