Ibiza opens the call to take part in the Dies Musicals Cycle 2026 until 23 December

The Island Council of Ibiza has opened the call for applications to participate in the Dies Musicals Cycle 2026, a cultural programme that will take place between February and May and aims to promote local soloists and music ensembles.

The upcoming edition will feature 15 concerts, hosted in various cultural venues across the island of Ibiza, helping to strengthen local cultural life and bring live music closer to residents and visitors.

Ibiza opens the call to take part in the Dies Musicals Cycle 2026 until 23 December

Concerts will be held at the following venues:

  • Teatre Espanya
  • Jesús Cultural Centre*
  • Cas Serres Sociocultural Centre Auditorium*
  • Caló de s’Oli Auditorium
  • Cervantes Cultural Centre Auditorium
  • Plenary Hall of Sant Joan de Labritja Town Hall
  • Can Jeroni Cultural Centre

* Venues equipped for concerts featuring piano and/or harpsichord.

The programme seeks to encourage cultural exchange and support emerging artistic talent, offering musicians a professional platform to present their work in established cultural spaces.

Applications will be assessed according to the evaluation criteria set out in the official regulations, with a panel of experts responsible for reviewing and selecting the highest-rated proposals.

The application deadline is 23 December, and submissions must be made online through the Ibiza Island Council’s electronic platform, under the cultural procedures section for the Dies Musicals Cycle 2026.

Applicants must meet several requirements, including forming small- or medium-sized ensembles with a maximum of eight members, at least 50% of whom must be residents of Ibiza. Participants are also required to provide their own musical instruments, except for the piano and/or harpsichord, which may be supplied by the Island Council.
