For the first time, a Christmas market dedicated entirely to Mallorcan handmade products will take place in the gardens of La Misericòrdia Cultural Centre on December 19, 20 and 21. The event aims to give visibility, support and recognition to the island’s artisans.
Deputy President and Councillor for Culture and Heritage, Antònia Roca, explained that the fair arises from a long-standing request from the craft sector:
“Artisans had been asking for a dedicated space during the festive season for some time. This first edition will feature twenty participants, the maximum number of available slots.”

Roca also highlighted that the initiative comes at a key moment of the year, when Christmas shopping increases and local, high-quality products gain special value.
Visitors will be able to enjoy a wide range of handcrafted items, including jewellery, ceramics, illustration, screen printing, traditional dolls, herbal products, pastries, leatherwork, and even freshly roasted coffee.
Opening hours
- Friday, December 19: 11:00–20:30
- Saturday, December 20: 10:00–20:30
- Sunday, December 21: 10:00–20:00
The fair will also feature a wooden Christmas tree decorated with traditional Mallorcan ornaments such as siurells, neules and palm-crafted pieces—one of the most recognizable festive symbols of the cultural centre.
Daily activities for all ages will complement the market.
