School transport for upper secondary students is guaranteed when pupils live in a different municipality from their school and do not have access to a public upper secondary school in their place of residence. The service may also be authorised in rural or remote areas, or in situations where specific geographical or accessibility difficulties exist, as is the case in these municipalities.
Through these agreements, the Conselleria d’Educació i Universitats continues to promote better access to education and improved schooling conditions for upper secondary students.
