The Ministry of Enterprise, Self-Employed Workers and Energy has announced a new grant scheme aimed at boosting the modernisation and digital transformation of the industrial sector in the Balearic Islands for the year 2026. The programme has a total budget of €2.5 million.
The incentives are open to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, self-employed professionals, technology centres, and research laboratories operating within the industrial sector and physically based in the Balearic Islands.
Applications may be submitted from 15 January at 00:00 until 15 February at 23:59. Full details of the call are published in the Official Gazette of the Balearic Islands (BOIB).

Funding announced to modernise and digitalise the Balearic industrial sector in 2026
The grants are structured into three separate programmes. Programme I focuses on industrial design and innovation projects; Programme II supports investments in production processes, including the purchase and installation of machinery; and Programme III targets digitalisation initiatives.
Across all three programmes, funding will cover 50% of eligible costs, excluding VAT. The minimum required investment is €2,000 for Programme I, with a maximum grant of €10,000 per beneficiary, while Programmes II and III require a minimum investment of €5,000, with a maximum eligible amount of €20,000 per beneficiary.
The scheme seeks to strengthen the competitiveness of the Balearic industrial fabric by encouraging innovation, technological renewal and digital development.
