Peak demand occurred mainly in April and October, when occupancy levels were close to full capacity. A similar situation was seen during the Constitution Day long weekend, when the refuges were fully booked, reaching 615 occupied beds, slightly exceeding the figures from the previous year.

Looking ahead to 2026, funding allocated to the maintenance of public estates and refuges will rise to €2.8 million, an 11% increase year-on-year, reinforcing the commitment to service quality.

Over the Christmas period, from 27 December 2025 to 6 January 2026, a total of 1,460 overnight stays were recorded, matching the levels of the previous year. Spanish visitors accounted for the majority of guests, with So n’Amer and Tossals Verds being the most in-demand refuges.
