The 2026 edition of Art Cologne Palma will take place from 9 to 12 April 2026 at the Palma Congress Centre, bringing together 88 galleries from 20 different countries, alongside non-profit cultural institutions. The event will once again be supported by the Balearic Government, the Mallorca Island Council and the City of Palma.
The fair further strengthens Mallorca’s position as a growing international platform for contemporary art, combining global reach, a strong local scene and a clearly structured exhibition model.
International scope with a Mediterranean core
Of the 88 participating galleries, 32 are based in Spain, nearly half of them in Mallorca, joined by 26 German galleries and a broad international selection from across Europe and beyond, including Scandinavia, the United Kingdom, the United States, Eastern Europe, South Korea, South Africa and South America.
This wide geographic range positions Palma as a meeting point between established European art centres and emerging international scenes, emphasising discovery, exchange and curatorial context rather than scale.

Art Cologne Palma 2026 to Bring Together 88 Galleries from 20 Countries in Palma. A distinctive local ecosystem
Art Cologne Palma is conceived as a high-level, specialised fair focused on dialogue and long-term collaboration between galleries, collectors and institutions. The project is developed in partnership with Art Palma Contemporani, the association representing Mallorca’s contemporary art galleries.
The 2026 edition will feature 14 Mallorcan galleries, highlighting the island’s increasingly recognised gallery landscape. Participants include established names such as Baró, Kewenig, Pelaires and Xavier Fiol, alongside younger galleries like Florit Florit, La Bibi + Reus and Galeria Fermay.
The institutional presence further enriches the program, with Es Baluard Museu d’Art Contemporani presenting a major exhibition dedicated to Jannis Kounellis, complemented by ongoing programs at the Fundació Pilar i Joan Miró a Mallorca, Casal Solleric and CCA Andratx.
Two exhibition formats: GRAN SALÓ and PARKOUR
The fair is structured around two clearly defined sections:
- GRAN SALÓ, offering a classic art fair layout with curated presentations and a clear framework for professional exchange.
- PARKOUR, an open and experimental section located in the main hall of the Congress Centre, designed by architect Francisco Mangado. Its generous height and vertical volume allow for large-scale works, suspended installations and spatially ambitious presentations that engage directly with the building’s architecture.
Conceived as a space for exploration, PARKOUR welcomes both emerging and established galleries seeking alternative exhibition formats suited to the architectural dimensions of the venue.
