The Ajuntament d’Inca has launched five new blended training and employment projects as part of the call SOIB Work-based Training in the Instrumental Public Sector, Local Authorities and the Third Sector of Social Action 2025–2026.
This programme is funded through resources from the Sectoral Conference on Employment and Labour Affairs and may be co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus, within the Balearic Islands ESF+ Programme 2021–2027, and implemented via the SOIB.
The projects combine theoretical and practical training with real work experience through alternating training contracts. Their main aim is to enhance participants’ professional qualifications and facilitate their entry or return to the labour market, strengthening key skills and employability.

The initiatives are divided into two strands. The SOIB Jove strand, aimed at people under the age of 30, includes three programmes: Inca Floreix, an eleven-month project focused on gardening with fifteen participants; Inca Fusta, a nine-month programme with fifteen trainees in the woodworking sector; and Inca Fit, also lasting nine months, with twelve participants specialising in sports-related activities.
The SOIB 30 strand targets people over the age of 30 and includes Inca Repunta, a nine-month programme with fifteen participants in the sewing sector, and Inca Led, an eleven-month project focused on the electrical sector, also with fifteen participants.
Through these projects, the Inca City Council reaffirms its commitment to training and employment policies that respond to current labour market demands and contribute to improving professional opportunities for local residents.
