The Conselleria de Educación y Universidades has opened today the application period for the second round of company-based training placements for Vocational Education and Training (VET) teachers during the 2025–2026 academic year.
The official call has been published today in the Boletín Oficial de las Illes Balears (BOIB).

Applications open today for the second training placement period in companies for VET teachers. Eligible applicants
The call is open to:
- Secondary education teachers
- Vocational Education and Training teachers
Teaching VET programmes at:
- Public schools under the Balearic Ministry of Education
- State-subsidised private schools offering VET programmes
Dates and scope of placements
Training placements may take place between March 15 and July 15, 2026, in:
- Companies or institutions in the Balearic Islands
- Other regions of Spain
- Countries within the European Union
The professional activity must be related to the teacher’s professional profile and teaching modules.
Professional development through real work environments
Company-based training placements are a key element of continuous professional development for VET teachers, as they:
- Strengthen professional skills in real work settings
- Improve knowledge of production processes, tools and new technologies
- Foster cooperation between companies, schools and teaching staff

Applications must be submitted:
- Via the CAIB Electronic Office
- With all required documentation attached
- By sending a copy to estadesfp@cfinfp.cat
