The Institut d’Estudis Baleàrics (IEB) has officially opened the call for artistic proposals for Fira B! 2026, the professional market for music and performing arts in the Balearic Islands, which will hold its 11th edition in Palma across two major events later this year.
According to the IEB, the performing arts programme will take place from 30 September to 3 October 2026, while the music-focused programme is scheduled for 4 to 7 November 2026.
Artists and companies interested in participating in Fira B! 2026 may submit their proposals from today until 28 February 2026, using the official application form available on the event’s website:

Fira B! aims to showcase the most recent and representative artistic creations from the Balearic Islands, while also strengthening professional networks between cultural operators at regional, national and international levels. IEB opens the artistic call for Fira B! 2026, the Balearic Islands’ professional market for music and performing arts
Among the first confirmed highlights, Fira B! Performing Arts 2026 will feature Sacrificció by theatre creator Lluís Oliver, winner of the Art Jove 2025 Award for young theatre creation, granted by the IBJOVE. Meanwhile, Fira B! Music 2026 will include performances by U.R. Bad, winners of the Palma City Council’s Pop-Rock Contest, and The Ripples, recipients of the Art Jove 2025 award for young musical creation.
The previous edition of Fira B! underlined the event’s growing importance, with 29 performing arts shows and 48 music projects, as well as the participation of nearly 600 cultural professionals, including programmers, festivals, agencies and record labels from across Spain and abroad.
In addition, Fira B! continues to develop exchange programmes with other national and international markets, reinforcing artistic mobility and the global projection of Balearic talent.
