Pedro Siquier Gutiérrez appointed as new Managing Director of the Balearic School of Public Administration

The Governing Council has approved the appointment of Pedro Siquier Gutiérrez as the new Managing Director of the Balearic School of Public Administration (EBAP). The appointment will take effect on 1 February 2026 and has been proposed by the Ministry of Labour, Public Service and Social Dialogue, in accordance with current regulations.

Pedro Siquier succeeds Violeta Rodríguez, who had been combining her role as Director General of Public Service with the management of EBAP. With this appointment, the Balearic School of Public Administration once again has a dedicated Managing Director, reinforcing its organisational structure and its strategic role in the training and professional development of public sector staff in the Balearic Islands.

Pedro Siquier Gutiérrez appointed as new Managing Director of the Balearic School of Public Administration

Pedro Siquier Gutiérrez holds a degree in Social Relations and is a certified labour mediator, with extensive professional experience in labour relations and institutional mediation. In his most recent professional role, he has served as a labour mediator at the Balearic Islands Mediation and Arbitration Tribunal (TAMIB), representing the Confederation of Balearic Business Associations (CAEB).

His appointment marks a new phase for the Balearic School of Public Administration, aimed at further strengthening the quality of public sector training, promoting administrative modernisation and supporting the continuous professional development of public employees across the autonomous community.
