Mallorca strengthened its position as a leading golf destination in the Swiss market through its participation in FESPO & Golf Messe, Switzerland’s main travel fair, held from 29 January to 1 February 2026 at the Messe Zürich exhibition centre.

The island’s presence at this international event provided an opportunity to present a specialised tourism offering that combines golf, high-quality accommodation, and services tailored to this segment. The Mallorca stand featured a broad representation of the sector, including business associations, golf courses, and a notable selection of hotels and resorts linked to golf tourism.

Mallorca showcases its golf offering to the Swiss market at FESPO & Golf Messe

Throughout the fair, Mallorca highlighted the diversity and complementarity of its golf-related offer, emphasising the variety of courses available, specialised accommodation options, and the island’s capacity to host both holiday stays and short golf breaks throughout the year.

A key focus of the participation was the promotion of a responsible and sustainable tourism model, in line with the island’s tourism strategy. In this context, the Pledge initiative was presented, encouraging visitors and tourism professionals to commit to a way of travelling that respects the environment, local culture, and coexistence with residents.

Once again, FESPO & Golf Messe confirmed its role as a major meeting point between international destinations and the Swiss market, known for its interest in high-quality proposals and personalised travel experiences. The golf area attracted a dedicated audience seeking new destinations for playing golf and planning leisure stays.

Over the four days of the event, Mallorca’s representatives engaged with visitors, provided information, and showcased the wide range of options available for golf enthusiasts, both during peak season and beyond traditional travel periods, highlighting an offer that combines sport, hospitality, and a strong commitment to sustainability.
