More than 80 young people took part in an information session where the youth activities programme planned for 2026 was presented within the framework of “Joves a la Neu”. Held before the trips to Andorra, the meeting provided key details about the journey and outlined the main initiatives aimed at young people for the year ahead.
The session focused on explaining the itinerary, accommodation arrangements and organisational aspects of the stay, addressing practical questions raised by participants. At the same time, the general lines of the programme to be implemented by the Island Youth Directorate throughout 2026 were introduced, targeting young people aged between 18 and 30.

The youth activities programme was presented to more than 80 “Joves a la Neu” participants
A wide range of educational, leisure and sports activities was presented, including initiatives such as “Guirigall Prix”, “Multiaventura”, the youth route along the Camí de Cavalls, “Endinsa’t en les teves emocions” and the Youth Way of St James, as well as sports projects like a youth paddle tennis tournament. These activities aim to promote participation, personal development and social interaction.
The meeting also announced the launch of the process to develop the Island Youth Plan, which will be designed through participatory methods to ensure that young people’s views and priorities are fully reflected. An open discussion session allowed attendees to share suggestions and engage directly in dialogue.
Alongside these initiatives, the Consell de Mallorca has allocated a record budget of €1,125,000 to youth policies in 2026, strengthening support for local authorities, organisations and youth associations, and consolidating a stable, diverse and youth-focused programme.
