Serveis Ferroviaris de Mallorca (SFM) will operate additional train services on February 14 and 15 to accommodate increased passenger demand during the traditional Carnival parades taking place in Palma, Lloseta and other municipalities across the island.
This year, the railway operator expanded its previous operational plan, which had included special services only on Sunday. For the current edition, reinforcement trains will run on both Saturday and Sunday, enhancing mobility options throughout the entire festive weekend.
A total of 16 additional trains will be added to the regular weekend timetable, operating between Palma and Inca in both directions. The reinforcement aims to provide efficient, safe and sustainable public transport from mid-afternoon until the end of the evening service, facilitating travel to Carnival events.
