Mallorca’s interurban bus network will expand its service offering as of Sunday, 1 March, with the introduction of new timetables and increased frequencies on several key TIB routes. This measure aims to improve connectivity and respond to growing mobility demand in the Tramuntana mountain range and the northern area of the island.

One of the main improvements affects Line 203 Palma – Valldemossa, which brings forward the implementation of the summer season timetable in order to incorporate additional services. From Monday to Friday, seven extra departures are added from Valldemossa and six from Palma, while at weekends, five additional services per direction are introduced. In addition, the first departure from Palma is brought forward to 7:15 a.m., improving early-morning access to Valldemossa.

Interurban bus services strengthened with increased frequencies in Tramuntana and northern Mallorca

In northern Mallorca, Line 302 Can Picafort – Palma extends its operating hours with four new daily departures, two early in the morning and two late in the evening. This enhancement strengthens connections between the Alcúdia–Can Picafort corridor, Inca and the capital. These measures are complemented by the reactivation of Line 315 Sa Pobla – Alcúdia Bay, which starts operating earlier than in the previous season.

These improvements to interurban public transport contribute to more efficient and accessible mobility, better adapted to the needs of residents and visitors, particularly in areas with high tourist activity and a strong reliance on collective transport.
