Mallorca will launch in 2026 a new programme of sports and adventure activities aimed at young people aged between 16 and 35. The initiative, titled “Viu en jove!”, is expected to reach around 4,000 participants and is designed to encourage group sports participation throughout the year through a prior registration system. The programme will be organised into four main thematic areas: sea, mountains, health and “young stands”.
The initiative will combine well-known sports activities with new adventure experiences connected to the island’s natural environment. Planned options include water sports such as kayaking and paddle surfing, as well as canyon excursions, mountain bike (MTB) routes, coasteering activities, horse-riding trips and ascents to peaks exceeding 1,000 metres in the Serra de Tramuntana. The objective is to provide a diverse programme that promotes outdoor physical activity while enabling participants to discover Mallorca’s landscapes.

Mallorca will offer a renewed sports and adventure programme for youth groups
All activities will be supervised by specialised instructors and will be open to both individual participants and organised groups. Participation will be free of charge, with the aim of expanding the currently limited range of sports initiatives specifically designed for teenagers and young adults.
The programme is scheduled to begin in April. Registration will be available through the institutional website, local municipalities and youth associations or organisations linked to sports monitoring and outdoor activities.
