The application period is now open for individual financial aid aimed at athletes and technical staff in Ibiza for the 2026 program, with a total budget allocation of €115,000. This initiative is designed to strengthen sports development on the island, enhance athletic performance, and support participation in official competitions.
The funding scheme includes several support categories tailored to different needs within the sports sector. Among them are grants for sporting achievements, targeting athletes up to 35 years old who achieved notable results in official competitions during 2025, including top placements in national or international championships or selection for national teams.
The program also provides financial support for technical training, enabling participation in specialised training activities outside Ibiza during 2025 and 2026. Additionally, there is a dedicated line for the acquisition of adapted equipment, aimed at athletes who require orthoprosthetic devices or wheelchairs essential for practising adapted sports.
