The Higher Conservatory of Music of the Balearic Islands will host a new edition of its orchestral training stages on March 31 and April 1 as part of its academic program for the 2025–2026 academic year. This initiative is designed to enhance practical learning by providing students with real performance experiences in a professional setting.

The program is divided into two distinct and complementary projects: the Wind Orchestra stage and the Chamber Orchestra stage. Both formats broaden the traditional symphonic training offered by the institution, enabling students to develop their musical versatility and refine their interpretative skills.

The Wind Orchestra stage will be conducted by maestro Andrea Loss and will conclude with a final concert on March 31 at 8:00 PM. The repertoire will feature works by several composers, and the solo performance will be delivered by Ariadna Mercadal, winner of the conservatory’s soloist competition.

Meanwhile, the Chamber Orchestra stage will be led by maestro Pablo de Pedro Cano. Its closing concert will take place on April 1 at 8:00 PM, showcasing a program that includes compositions from prominent classical composers. The soloist for this performance will be Izan Blasco, also a recipient of the institution’s soloist award.

Through these initiatives, the conservatory reinforces its commitment to high-quality, career-oriented musical education. These stages provide students with essential stage experience, support their artistic growth, and prepare them for professional pathways within the music industry.
