The Policia XPO police management system is undergoing a transition to a web-based version designed to improve accessibility, operational efficiency, and user experience for local police forces across the Balearic Islands. Currently implemented in 57 municipalities, the platform has become a key tool for coordinating and managing local policing activities.
The shift to a web environment will enable officers to access the system from any device, overcoming the limitations of the previous client-server architecture, which required installation on individual computers within each municipality. This technological upgrade represents a major improvement in terms of maintenance, security, and functionality, allowing centralized updates and remote access.

The development and modernization of Policia XPO are the result of ongoing institutional collaboration with a public technology service provider, under a framework agreement originally established in 2017 and recently renewed. This partnership has ensured the creation of a digital solution tailored to municipal needs and aligned with current standards in public sector digitalization.
The migration process is being implemented through coordinated technical work between system managers and development teams, ensuring a smooth and effective transition. This upgrade marks a significant milestone in the system’s evolution, enabling enhanced features and improved integration with other emergency and public safety services.
Since its inception, Policia XPO has steadily expanded its reach and functionality, becoming a reference system within the regional public safety framework. Its ability to streamline data management, facilitate inter-agency coordination, and connect with emergency response services strengthens its strategic role in improving security and operational response across the islands.
