The regional government has approved the extension of the contract for providing hemodialysis services in outpatient centers, ensuring continued care for patients referred from the Nephrology Department of Son Espases University Hospital. The extension will run for 24 months, from May 2026 to May 2028, with a total budget of €3,773,214.56.
This service has been in place since the contract was initially formalized in May 2023 with a specialized provider, aiming to deliver essential treatment to patients outside the hospital setting. The extension responds to the need to maintain uninterrupted access to this critical healthcare service.
