Mallorca is strengthening its commitment to sustainable tourism and cultural education with the launch of an extensive program of 18 guided routes across the Serra de Tramuntana, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The initiative, branded under the slogan “La Tramuntana es viu i es camina,” aims to reconnect residents and visitors with the cultural and historical essence of this iconic landscape.

The routes are designed to be accessible and family-friendly, offering short and manageable itineraries that blend nature, history, and education. Participants will explore key features of the cultural landscape, including traditional paths, dry-stone constructions, water systems, and historic estates that illustrate the long-standing relationship between humans and the environment.
