The Conselleria d’Educació i Universitats will open the application period on Monday, May 4, for student admissions for the 2026–2027 academic year in preschool (from the fourth year), primary education, compulsory secondary education, and special education. The submission window will remain open until May 14.

For the fourth year of preschool education, a total of 10,014 places are planned, including 6,493 in public schools and 3,521 in state-funded private institutions. This allocation aims to ensure a sufficient and balanced educational offer across the territory.

Regarding enrollment periods, the process will be carried out in stages depending on the educational level. Preschool enrollment will take place from June 22 to June 26, while primary and special education will run from June 22 to June 29. Secondary education enrollment is scheduled from June 25 to July 1.

The admission process will be governed by the new schooling regulations approved in 2026, which introduce measures to strengthen equity within the education system. These include mechanisms to ensure a fair and inclusive distribution of students with specific educational support needs.

Additionally, the digitalization of the application process is now established as the preferred method, allowing for more efficient, streamlined, and reliable management. At the same time, in-person assistance remains available to ensure that all families can access the process regardless of technological barriers.
