The organizational reforms implemented at the Fundació Instituto Socioeducativo s’Estel have successfully strengthened workforce stability, representing a key step forward in human resource management within the socio-educational sector. This was highlighted by the Minister for Families, Social Welfare and Dependency Care, Sandra Fernández, during her appearance before the Parliamentary Committee on Social Affairs.

As explained, the workforce situation has improved significantly in recent months. In 2025, there were vacancies within a team of 198 employees, whereas the current scenario shows a fully staffed organization with no unfilled positions. This outcome underlines the effectiveness of the measures adopted to enhance internal organization, streamline shifts, and reinforce the operational structure.

At the same time, work is ongoing to create new positions aimed at ensuring staff availability every day of the year. A negotiation process has been launched to review working schedules and assess staffing requirements across all centers managed by the foundation.

Additionally, the adjustments carried out in facilities such as Es Fusteret and in the supported housing unit have played a decisive role in reducing sick leave rates and strengthening workforce stability. These initiatives reaffirm the institutional commitment to service quality and to the well-being of both professionals and service users.
