The move is designed to enhance patient care through larger, more specialized facilities tailored to current healthcare needs.

Located on the ground floor of the outpatient building, the new facilities will accommodate all physiotherapy treatments in a modern environment equipped to support a broader range of healthcare services. The center also includes dedicated spaces for respiratory rehabilitation, pediatric rehabilitation and other specialized therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patient outcomes.

Patients attending appointments are advised to check their designated location in advance and use the appointment management system upon arrival to identify the correct consultation area. Arriving early and following staff guidance will help ensure a smooth transition to the new care pathways established within the building.

The Rehabilitation Service is currently supported by a multidisciplinary team of physiotherapists, rehabilitation physicians, healthcare assistants and administrative professionals who will now work in facilities specifically designed to enhance both clinical performance and patient experience.

Future developments within the service include the introduction of occupational therapy and the planned implementation of cardiac rehabilitation programs. Specialized care areas have also been reinforced to support pediatric rehabilitation, comprehensive oncology patient treatment and pelvic floor rehabilitation, providing more personalized and targeted healthcare solutions.

This relocation forms part of the wider transformation strategy underway at Manacor Hospital and strengthens the role of the new outpatient building as a key component in delivering modern, efficient and patient-centered healthcare services across the region.
