He joined the Balearic public healthcare system in 1998 as a specialist physician in the Department of Anaesthesiology and Resuscitation at Son Dureta University Hospital. Since 2008, he has led the Pain Unit, overseeing the treatment and management of patients affected by chronic and complex pain conditions.
