The Government has introduced new measures aimed at improving access to and understanding of the extraordinary administrative regularisation process available to migrants already residing in Spain. The initiative seeks to ensure that all information related to the procedure is presented in a clear and accessible manner, particularly for individuals who may face difficulties understanding administrative or legal documentation.
To achieve this objective, an Easy-to-Read guide has been developed to explain the requirements, conditions and steps involved in the regularisation process using simple and accessible language. The document provides detailed information on eligibility criteria, required documentation, application deadlines and the procedures that applicants must follow.

Spain Adapts the Migrant Regularisation Process to Ensure Greater Accessibility
The initiative is designed to support people whose first language is not Spanish, as well as individuals who may experience comprehension difficulties due to language barriers, limited literacy skills or circumstances requiring additional accessibility resources. The measure aims to strengthen equal access to administrative procedures and public services.
In addition to the adapted guide, accessible audiovisual materials have also been made available, including resources in sign language. These tools are intended to broaden access to information and ensure that a greater number of people can fully understand the regularisation process.
At the same time, the digital platform dedicated to the extraordinary regularisation programme has been enhanced to provide comprehensive information and support. The website brings together application forms, guidance documents, explanatory videos and resources designed to answer the most common questions raised by applicants.
Through this online portal, users can access updated information, complete certain administrative procedures electronically, request appointments and obtain guidance regarding application requirements. The initiative forms part of a broader effort to improve administrative accessibility, simplify procedures and provide more inclusive, transparent and user-friendly public services.
