The Consell de Mallorca has opened a new registration period offering young people aged between 18 and 30 the opportunity to discover Menorca by walking some of the most remarkable sections of the historic Camí de Cavalls. The initiative consists of five days of hiking along the island’s southern coast, combining nature, heritage and a shared outdoor experience.

Registration will remain open from 14 to 19 August, with a total of 50 places available. Those interested in taking part can register through the Consell de Mallorca website.

Over five days, participants will walk different sections of the Camí de Cavalls between Ciutadella and Maó. The itinerary will pass through some of Menorca’s best-known coastal locations, including Cap d’Artrutx, Cala en Turqueta, Cala Macarella, Cala Galdana, Son Bou, Cala en Porter, Binissafúller and Punta Prima.

The Consell de Mallorca offers a new opportunity to discover Menorca through the Camí de Cavalls

The experience will provide participants with an opportunity to learn more about the environmental, historical and cultural importance of the Camí de Cavalls while exploring on foot some of the most distinctive landscapes along Menorca’s coastline.

The activity is subsidised by the Consell de Mallorca and costs €97.86 per participant. The fee includes sea and land transport required for the programme, full-board accommodation at the Sa Vinyeta hostel, insurance and the assistance of monitors throughout the activity.

The initiative aims to provide young people with an accessible and active experience in direct contact with the territory, while encouraging greater awareness of Menorca’s natural and cultural heritage through one of the island’s most significant historic routes.
