Binissalem will celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Festa des Vermar from 4 to 27 September 2026 with an extensive programme combining some of the festival’s most traditional events with concerts, theatre, exhibitions, gastronomy, sports activities and events linked to wine and local heritage.
One of the first major events will take place on Saturday, 5 September, with a concert by Els Pets, Suasi and Born at the covered courtyard of the Escola Graduada. The following day, Plaça de l’Església will host the Macro Ballada Binissalem, featuring xeremiers, fandango workshops and performances by Es Raiguer, Da-li-cebes, Pitxorines, Càrritx and Xaloc música.
Wine will play a prominent role throughout the programme. The XVIII Tast de vins will take place at Can Gelabert on 8 September, while DO Binissalem will organise DOcktail on 17 September, combining wine tasting and cocktail making. Microvermada 2026 will also be held on several dates, featuring four short theatre pieces connected with wine and the Festa des Vermar, together with a microconcert.
The cultural programme will also include theatre, chamber music and several exhibitions. Among them are “La veu a la mà” by Maria del Mar Bonet and the 47è Certamen d’Arts Plàstiques i Visuals Vila de Binissalem 2026. The programme also includes “ELLES”, a photographic exhibition dedicated to the women who keep Binissalem’s traditional and local commerce alive.

Binissalem celebrates 60 years of Festa des Vermar with music, tradition, culture and wine
The weekend from 18 to 20 September will bring together some of the festival’s most representative events. On Friday, 18 September, the Benvinguda a Sa Vermada will take place, followed by the reception of the Vermadores and Vermadors and the festival proclamation, delivered this year by Juana Rosselló Moyà, Toni Bestard Vidal and family.
That evening will continue with the children’s correfoc “Es dimoni de sa Vermada” and “In the Night”, a tribute concert to Txarango and Oques Grasses performed by the Banda de Binissalem and the Banda des Migjorn Gran.
Saturday, 19 September, will begin with the “Voltant voltant” street parade and the opening proclamation. The Gran batalla de raïm will follow, and at 2 p.m. Plaça de l’Església will host the XXV Dinar i Festa dels Trepitjadors. The event will include fideus de vermar and performances by Horris Kamoi, Val 9, JOQSE, Dj Biel Martorell and Dj Stefan. This edition also marks the 25th anniversary of the Festa dels Trepitjadors.
On Sunday, 20 September, Binissalem will hold the LXXII Homenatge a la Vellesa and, later in the day, the XXVI Concurs de Trepitjar Raïm at Plaça de l’Església. Participants dressed as trepitjadors will be joined by Dionís, the Xeremiers and the Tall de Vermadors.
Traditional gastronomy will once again take centre stage on Thursday, 24 September, with the XLIII Festa de Fideus de Vermar at Can Arabí. The following evening, Friday 25, Binissalem will celebrate the Sopar a la Fresca, inviting residents to decorate the streets, bring out their tables and share the evening with family, friends and visitors. The night will continue with a large open-air party featuring Aftersuns, Baix’N’Nicotina and Dj Joan Campos.
On Saturday, 26 September, the traditional Desfilada de Carrosses will begin at 5 p.m., while the XXI Fira del Vi will be officially inaugurated at Parc de la Rectoria. The programme also includes awareness activities against sexist aggression.
The final major day of the Festa des Vermar will take place on Sunday, 27 September, with a special parade featuring Vermadores and Vermadors from the festival’s 60-year history, an official reception, a solemn Mass at the church of Santa Maria de Robines and the offering of the new must.
The XXI Fira del Vi will continue during the afternoon, and at 7 p.m. a final festival photograph will bring together people dressed in traditional Mallorcan clothing. The programme will conclude at 10 p.m. with “Aires de foc”, the adult correfoc.
For almost the entire month of September, Binissalem will turn its streets, squares, wineries and cultural venues into stages for a Festa des Vermar marking six decades with the grape harvest, wine, fideus de vermar, floats, trepitjadors and popular participation at the heart of the celebration.
