Inca completes the final recording of “INCA AMB ELS CLÀSSICS” today, 1 September, as Mallorcan group Fades films its music video at Can Delante. The Ajuntament d’Inca project brings together music, heritage and emblematic establishments in the capital of the Raiguer, following previous recordings at La Florida, Ca’s Sereno and the train station with Maria Hein, Zulu Zulu and The Ripples.
The initiative aims to promote Inca’s emblematic establishments through music and audiovisual formats, bringing their cultural and heritage value closer particularly to younger residents and visitors.
Four groups from the Balearic Islands are taking part in the project, each recording a music video lasting between three and five minutes in one of four emblematic locations in Inca. The first three recordings took place at La Florida, Ca’s Sereno and the train station, featuring Maria Hein, Zulu Zulu and The Ripples respectively.
The fourth and final recording takes place today at Can Delante with Fades. The Mallorcan group was formed in 2022 and has become one of the emerging music acts with the strongest impact in the Balearic Islands. Through its lyrics and musical proposals, Fades promotes linguistic awareness and LGBT rights.
All the selected artists come from the Balearic Islands, represent different musical styles and have careers with national projection. This diversity allows the project to reach different age groups, audiences and musical interests.
The initiative also features Maria del Mar Coll, born in Muro in 1994, a scriptwriter, presenter and comedian. She presents the music videos and acts as a link between the participating establishments and the artists.

“INCA AMB ELS CLÀSSICS” seeks to highlight emblematic establishments as an essential part of Inca’s tourism and cultural heritage while creating new content aimed particularly at younger audiences.
The project uses social media and audiovisual formats to bring these historic spaces closer to residents and visitors, promote local tourism and strengthen Inca’s position as a leading tourism and cultural destination in inland Mallorca.
“Volem proposar una mirada contemporània dels establiments i espais més emblemàtics de la nostra ciutat i trobar noves maneres de donar-los visibilitat. La música ens permet arribar a nous públics i explicar Inca des d’una perspectiva diferent, sense perdre de vista el valor històric, patrimonial i cultural de la nostra ciutat”, explains Councillor for City Promotion Miguel Ángel Cortés.
The four audiovisual pieces will be distributed through the Ajuntament d’Inca’s communication channels and social media platforms to increase the visibility of the participating establishments and promote the city beyond its local area.
Can Delante hosts the final recording
Can Delante, located on Carrer Major in Inca, is a pastry shop that has been producing traditional island sweets for more than 160 years.
The establishment manufactures and distributes nougat, Easter sweets, ice cream preparations and a wide range of traditional products, including ensaïmades, cakes, almond gató, panades and rubiols, as well as savoury and sweet coques.
With today’s recording by Fades at Can Delante, “INCA AMB ELS CLÀSSICS” completes its journey through four emblematic locations in Inca and four musical acts from the Balearic Islands, turning these spaces into settings for contemporary creation and bringing them closer to new generations.
