The Regional Ministry of Economy, Finance and Innovation of the Government of the Balearic Islands will organise the «Innovation and Female Talent in Tourism 2026» event in Palma on 23 September, bringing together female professionals, entrepreneurs and students involved in tourism and technology across the Balearic Islands.
Under the slogan «Female talent driving the tourism of the future», the event aims to create a space for networking, connection and greater visibility for women within the Balearic Islands’ TurTech ecosystem. It will also seek to foster new professional and business opportunities linked to tourism innovation.
The event will take place from 9.00 a.m. to 2.15 p.m. at Fundación Sa Nostra – Can Tàpera in Palma and will feature leading figures from the tourism and technology sectors. The programme will include mentoring opportunities and presentations of projects led by women.
Artificial intelligence, data and sustainability will be among the key areas addressed because of their growing role in the transformation of the tourism sector in the Balearic Islands. The event will also focus on the need for qualified talent capable of leading this evolution.

Palma to bring together female talent from the Balearic Islands at tourism innovation event
Scheduled activities include professional mentoring sessions designed to connect experienced women with emerging profiles, opportunities to meet leading figures from the sector, and a showroom of ideas and projects led by women to give greater visibility to innovative initiatives linked to tourism and technology.
The initiative is particularly aimed at female professionals, entrepreneurs and students within the tourism and technology ecosystem of the Balearic Islands. Its purpose is to facilitate connections between female talent and the companies and organisations operating in a sector undergoing significant transformation.
Participation in the event is free, although places are limited and advance registration is required.
Womenalia, the organisation responsible for delivering the event, is the first professional network for Spanish-speaking women and aims to connect, showcase and empower female entrepreneurs, professionals and executives. Its involvement brings the experience of a network specialising in promoting female talent and professional development.
The event forms part of the Government of the Balearic Islands’ commitment to innovation as one of the drivers for transforming the economic model, while strengthening connections between talent, businesses, technology and strategic sectors in the Balearic Islands.
